Las Vegas and World Series of Poker sounds like a match made in heaven and that is why you should be happy to hear that WSOP 2018 will be held at the famous Rio Hotel and Casino in sin city. It will run from 29 May to July 17 so if you haven’t brushed up on your insight about this prestigious event, now is the time.

WSOP 2017 has set a benchmark. It was just purely fantastic. Scott Blumstein was crowned poker king of the world and walked away with $8,150,000. The New Jersey native received the most wanted prize in poker, the Main Event Bracelet. He became part of the wall of fame overnight and now sits alongside poker legends such as Jhonny Moss, Carlos Mortensen and Stu Ungar.
And, believe it or not, WSOP 2018 is promising a even better tournament than last year. There is a record of 78 bracelet events. The Big One for One Drop will also be held at the WSOP for the first time in four years. The main event – The $10,000 Limit Hold’em will begin on 2 July and will end on 14 July 2018.
Only 74 of the 78 bracelets will be won at Rio in Las Vegas. The other four will be online bracelets that is up for grabs via online events throughout June 2018. The events are one day events and will be played on WSOP.com. It will take about 12 hours to play from start to finish and they each feature unlimited re-entry.
